        　　國務委員劉延東15日上午在中南海會見了到訪的美國耶魯大學校長理查德·萊文一行。雙方就進一步加強中美教育交流與合作交換了意見。 
        


        　　劉延東說，教育交流是國與國、人民與人民之間增進了解與加強合作的橋梁與紐帶。中國政府高度重視中美教育領域的交流與合作，尤其是高層次人才培養和高水平科研合作。耶魯大學與中國的交往源遠流長，目前與中國政府部門和大學建立了廣泛而卓有成效的合作關系。
