        　　昨天，人力資源和社會保障部發(fā)布消息，城鎮(zhèn)居民基本醫(yī)療保險試點工作自2007年啟動以來，現(xiàn)已試點城市229個，目前參保人數(shù)已經(jīng)過億。
        


        　　據(jù)介紹，城鎮(zhèn)居民基本醫(yī)療保險試點工作自2007年開始啟動，國務院確定首批88個試點城市。2008年試點范圍進一步擴大，確定試點城市229個。截至2008年11月底，全國城鎮(zhèn)居民基本醫(yī)療保險參保人數(shù)過億，達到10012萬人，比上年底增加5721萬人；已有999萬人享受城鎮(zhèn)居民基本醫(yī)療保險待遇。目前，各試點城市正進一步擴大城鎮(zhèn)居民基本醫(yī)療保險制度覆蓋面，盡快讓更多的城鎮(zhèn)居民享受基本醫(yī)療保障。
